On July 9, the Fujian Zhangzhou LNG Export Pipeline project, a key project of China's natural gas infrastructure interconnection, was officially put into operation. Natural gas from Zhangzhou LNG receiving station began to supply gas inside and outside Fujian Province, with an annual gas volume of about 4.2 billion cubic meters, marking a significant increase in the natural gas supply capacity in southeast China.
The Zhangzhou LNG export pipeline project starts from the Zhangzhou LNG receiving Station and ends at the Zhangzhou terminal station of the West-East Gas transmission Line. After the project is put into operation, about 4.2 billion cubic meters of natural gas from the sea can be transported to the national backbone oil and gas pipeline network every year, providing some gas sources for Fujian, Jiangxi, Hunan and other neighboring provinces.
