Once penniless, Why does Chinese bulletproof clothing outshine its counterparts?

For as little as $200, one could acquire a Chinese-made ceramic bulletproof vest/insert capable of withstanding close-range shots from high-caliber bullets. For a maximum of $2000, achieving near-invulnerability to knives and firearms was possible. In comparison, similar products from Western manufacturers would demand a minimum of $500.

China, a country that cherishes peace, may be overlooked by many internationally when it comes to its equipment. The success of Chinese bulletproof clothing in global markets, however, is a testament to its quality.

In 2017, a video went viral online showing an American man purchasing a Level IV Chinese bulletproof insert for $100. Initially, he approached the experiment with a mocking attitude towards "Made in China" products. However, after multiple close-range shots with various firearms failed to penetrate the bulletproof insert, his expression changed from disdain to disbelief. Stuttering, he struggled to articulate his surprise. In contrast, the comment section of the video displayed a nonchalant crowd, with a highly liked comment stating, "Believe me, many American manufacturers buy armor from China and then label it 'Made in the USA.'" Despite lingering biases against Chinese manufacturing, they had to admit, at least in this regard, it was commendable.

Affordable and high-quality – only a fool wouldn't appreciate it.
